Drashti Dhami (born January 10, 1985) (Gujarati) is an Indian television actress. She had worked in a show called Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi and she was the main lead in it. She has also worked in Dill Mill Gayye on Star One as Dr. Muskaan Chaddan. She is very popular for her role as ‘Geet’ in one of the most successful and popular shows on STAR One and on Indian small screen Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi .

Drashti Dhami has done many adds and was known for her modelling before she forayed into the TV industry. She has been a part of the music video ‘Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re’ which was her debut music video of Harry Anand. Having been a dance instructor earlier in life, Drashti also excels in the field of Bollywood dance. She was later seen in a Punjabi music video ‘Nachle Soniye Tu’ and in the remix version of 'Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezar'. Drashti made also a cameo appearance in the music video, ‘Teri Meri Nazar Ki Dori.’
Before her debut in Dill Mill Gayye, Dhami made a lot of commercials as Chevrolet and Reliance Mobile. She has also done commercials for Colgate (toothpaste) with Saif Ali Khan , Lion Honey, Pulimoottil SILKS, Vasan Eye care, RKS Grand (Shopping Mall), Amul, VIP Bags and jewellery.
Drashti Dhami debuted as the bubbly Dr. Muskaan Chadda in Dil Mill Gayye. Who in the beginning thought she had feelings for Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover), but then slowly fell in love with Dr. Rahul Garewal (Mayank Anand).
She got her big break with STAR One's Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi, launched on the 5th April 2010, where she plays the protagonist of the show, opposite Gurmeet Choudhary as 'Maan Singh Khurana'.
Geet is a happy, lively, fun loving girl who hails from a small town in Punjab. She belongs to a close-knit, traditionalist family which upholds honor, respect and dignity above all else. The story begins with Geet's wedding. Her family is ecstatic as they have found the perfect match for their daughter - a young, successful NRI, who brings with him the promise of a bright and happy future.
The role of Geet, in Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi, made Drashti Dhami gain attention over the year.
Drashti Dhami was chosen to be the brand ambassador for Canvironment Week 2011 initiated by Hindustan Tin Works Ltd to support the cause of ‘Save Our Planet’.
They choose Drashti Dhami as their brand ambassador since she has a large fan following among women and youth. They felt her presence would help make the youth aware of their initiative of saving our planet Earth and the importance of recycling.
Drashti Dhami says, “For me, it is a proud moment to be selected as brand ambassador for this year’s Canvironment Week 2011.”
Drashti Dhami, who was judge at CanCussion 2011 at SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce)and Brand Ambassador of Canvironment Week, was very excited and said "It was a great show and I thoroughly enjoyed it; I am delighted to judge this high energy an electrifying event. Hindustan Tin Works has bestowed the role and responsibility upon to me to make consumers aware about the modern and trendy cans and also highlight role of rag-pickers in the recycling chain."
Drashti was born in mumbai to a Gujarati family.She has a brother Jaysheel Dhami who is married to the actress Suhasi Goradia Dhami of Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. After being schooled at Mary Immaculate Girl's High School in Borivali she attended Mithibai College to study sociology. Drashti currently lives in Andheri east with her family..
